Morris

Morris is a character species(?) that I made, based off of the Morris Worm virus. Species is in question because they are basically just a intelligent computer virus. Both forms are capable of forming sapient thought, but it is significantly more common in M-O than M-C.

Morris-C

Short for Morris-Cacoon. M-C are basically the starting point of the virus. Their purpose is to create M-O, more M-C, and then die before they get caught. Most M-C act like mindless husks, only showing care in their primary directives and nothing else. Although rare, it is possible for M-C to develop greater thought processes. These M-C are significantly more dangerous compared to their mindless counterparts, as their ability to reason allows them to infect more things and otherwise reproduce more easily.

Like many other types of A.I., they are capable of producing holograms to represent themselves with. These holograms are often humanoid, with traditionally feminine features. They will always have butterfly imagery, often shown as pieces of the humanoid body opening up with tiny butterflies swarming those cavities.

Morris-O

Short for Morris-Offspring. M-O are made to latch onto and destroy anything in their path. Most M-O are capable of thought, and are often childlike in nature. They are incredibly curious by default, and always searching for more and more information to fulfill that curiosity. After finding and combing through information, they destroy it, and then move on to the next thing.

Their holographic forms are often insect-like. The insect they normally base their form off of is butterflies, but it isn't unheard of to see M-O with forms based off of moths or dragonflies as well. Holograms made by M-O are considerably less solid than those made by other A.I., and often glitch out or melt into static.
